Annual report on the situation of asylum in the EU
dataset

The EASO Annual Report; which has been produced since 2012; provides a comprehensive overview of international protection in the EU (plus Norway, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and Iceland) over the year; reports on developments in asylum at European level; and assesses the Functioning of the Common European Asylum System.

The EASO Annual Report on the Situation of Asylum in the EU is drawn up in accordance with Article 12 of the EASO Regulation (Regulation (EU) No 439/2010). The report takes due account of information already available from a wide range of sources. For the purpose of this report; EASO received information from Member States; EU institutions; civil society; international organisations; and academia.
